Singing. Together.
Connected Voices is a no-audition choir in the North West for adults who love music and just want to sing. Through our weekly rehearsals we bring people together to experience the life-changing benefits that singing with other people can provide, while sharing adventures and making new friends along the way.
We sing anything with a bit of heart and soul - from rock, gospel and funk to pop classics and maybe even a little musical theatre along the way. All of our repertoire is especially arranged to be unique for our choirs and given a little twist of Connected Voices magic!
We run three terms of 11 rehearsals in each choir year, starting in September, January and April. After attending their first FREE session to try out the choir, our members then attend weekly rehearsals which are designed to be 90 minutes of stress-busting, uplifting fun.
We build towards exciting performances each term to get out into our communities to show off what have learned and maybe raise some pennies for local and national charities. Performances are always 100% optional for our members - you choose when you are ready to perform.
Members also benefit from a range of online resources to support their learning as well as online streamed rehearsals to keep connected even if they can’t make their weekly rehearsal.
See what some of our members had to say about what our choir means to them…

But I don’t think I can sing?
We 100% believe that you can! We don’t expect you to be Aretha or Freddie - just to love singing!
You don’t need to audition and you will never be asked to sing on your own.
Do I need to read music?
No. We do provide sheet music for our arrangements and we will teach everyone the very basics you need, but you will mainly learn your part by listening to it being sung for you and singing it back with other people in your voice section.
And when we blend all the harmonies together you won’t believe the sound you are part of making!
When can I join?
You can join at any time - just choose which location you are interested in below, check whether we have availability, and if we do, go ahead and book your FREE first session today!

Meet the Choir Leader
Founder and Musical Director of Connected Voices, Anthony Seaman
Anthony is an inspiring and dynamic choir leader, who is extremely passionate about bringing people together through Music. Having been a musician and singer for pretty much all of his life he has an incredibly diverse range of musical experience across a wide range of genres, from rock to hip hop, taking in funk and opera along the way.
Anthony moved to Southport in 2007 and worked in music education for a number of years before making the switch to running choirs full time in 2013. Since then he has led choirs in performances at some of the most iconic venues in Merseyside and the UK, and raised tens thousands of pounds for local and national charities.
He is a firm believer in the power of singing to improve mental health and well-being and to bring people together, no matter their experience, background, opinions, politics or beliefs:
“When people sing together they are participating in something primal that shatters all boundaries and connects us with something beyond the everyday challenges of life.
Singing is cathartic, it has an enormous power to lift and inspire us, and it is part of what makes us human. The greatest joy of my musical life has been bringing people together to sing, and that is what I am most looking forward to doing with Connected Voices.”
As well as leading the choir, Anthony will be producing bespoke arrangements and backing tracks for the choir so that all of our repertoire will be uniquely tailored to Connected Voices.
